Funky, Punky, and Plump

I have been having fun coming up with fun creepy decorations for my sister's horror moved themed engagement party. So when I saw THIS , I figured I could use a similar technique to make a wall plaque. I got about 50 plastic Army guys and arranged them in a glass pie plate: I "baked" them at 350 and kept checking them every 5-10 minutes until they were melted together but still recognizable. These ones took about 35-40 minutes because they were a really hard plastic. This just delights the evil sadistic child in me so I may do this again but in a bigger scale. :) One thing I failed to do was open a window so my kitchen smelled of poisionous plastic fumes until I realized I needed to pop one open. I will take a picture of the whole plaque at the party in a couple weeks. :)
